The Last Piece
A downloadable game
I built this entirely in ASM in 5 days. I didn't get as far as I wanted of course, one never does in a game jam. But I have graphics and movement with compression routines that won't hamper me from expanding it to a full size game. Have fun with some of the collision bugs :)
You'll notice our adventurer needs the last piece of the medallion at the top right corner. Where is it, you ask? It's nowhere. I had to rebuild my entity management system and draw routines because I started with lazy code. Maybe someday I'll get this game to where I want it.
The Vision: A little cave dive, 4 screens deep, and at the bottom...behold...The Last Piece! But wait...now that you've found it, the gods have become angry and lava is rising from the earth to destroy you! Get back out to the top before you get roasted!

It loads on my Everdrive, but am I correct that there is no jump button and no way to make it past the first screen?
Yep, I only got as far as walk and climb, one screen, no win condition. I'm hoping to continue the project though.
That’s cool, I mean it worked great on original hardware so you’ve got that going haha. I’ll make sure to check out the final game when it’s out!
